About Me
I'm Elizabeth — an educator and learning designer with over 20 years of experience helping children become confident, capable learners, including many years working with students with learning differences. I translate learning science into practical strategies parents and teachers can use right away, no degree required.
I've worked in classrooms, developed curriculum and assessments, partnered with families and experts in the field, and contributed to ed tech product development to understand what actually helps children learn. My work is grounded in the Science of Reading and learning science — the research that tells us how children actually learn to read, and what to do when they struggle. Decoding Learning grew out of that work: research-informed resources built for how teachers and families really work.

Happy Reading!
